By Samii Ryan teamed up with artist Dessie Jackson to launch a whimsical capsule collection featuring drawings from the Philadelphia native’s personal diary.
Dessie Jackson’s artwork explores the performance of femininity through painting, drawing, video and collage. Known for her large scale canvas work, she was recently asked to step outside of her comfort zone and create seven stop-motion lyric videos for Halsey’s newest album, ‘Manic.’ For this special collab, Jackson created illustrations depicting a dream-like world full of vibrant scenes made up of flowers, butterflies, and multi-colored figures.
Samii and Dessie’s real-life friendship has blossomed into a colorful collection inspired by one another’s ambition, self-love, and growth. The capsule features a selection of tie-dyed sweatpants and sweatshirt sets, along with T-shirts, long sleeves and stickers.
